GMU Psychology Professor to speak at Fall for the Book

Todd B. Kashdan, an associate professor of psychology at George Mason University, is the author of Curious? Discover the Missing Ingredient to a Fulfilling Life. Kashdan conducts research on curiosity, positive emotions, meaning and purpose in life, mindfulness, gratitude, social relationships, the cultivation of health and well-being, trauma, and anxiety disorders. He has published over 80 original publications in peer-reviewed journals or books. His book (with Ken Sheldon and Michael Steger), Designing the Future of Positive Psychology: Taking Stock and Moving Forward, is being published by Oxford University Press. His current work on social anxiety and emotion regulation is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. Kashdan is also an associate editor of the Journal of Personality as well as the Journal of Positive Psychology.
